Shortages & Damaged Items:
All items not received must be notified to us in writing within 14 days to enable us to make enquiries and register a claim with the carrier. Items reported after that time cannot be refunded.
Items damaged on arrived must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt. Claims made after this time cannot be entertained.
Items returned because they are damaged, defective or sent incorrectly
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will (within reason) refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us (by refunding your return postage costs up to £6.99).
You MUST NOT write directly, apply stickers or stamps on to the original packaging as this will affect our ability to re-sell the item and may result in a refund being denied if one is requested. We reserve the right to refuse items sent back with defaced or damaged packaging or to charge for the packaging to be replaced.
For large / heavy helmets please contact us and we will arrange a collection.
VSMX.co.uk will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.
2. Items cancelled or returned for refund or exchange
If you are not completely satisfied with your goods you may return them unused and in the original condition with tags attached within 28 days of invoice date. Please state if you require a refund or exchange. No refund will be given if after this 28 day period.

Exchanges
Simply return items to the returns address below (which is also found in the top left hand corner of your invoice) include a copy of your invoice if possible otherwise, as a minimum, your name, address, order number and telephone number and add a small note saying what you want us to do.
Items must be returned unused and in the original condition with packaging with tags still attached. Please do not remove any tags unless you intend to keep the items.

Please note that an additional £3.99 for small items or £6.99 for larger items will be required to cover postage costs for Mainland UK redeliveries, this will increase for deliveries outside of this area, although we can assure you that we only charge cost on redeliveries

Refunds

If a full refund is requested and the item your are returning has been specially ordered for you, a 20% restocking charge may be applicable, unless faulty or damaged goods. We regret we cannot refund postage costs unless item is faulty.
By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered (7 Day Cooling Off Period). This applies to all of our products except for the purchase of video or DVD products where the item has been unsealed.
If a full refund is requested and the item you are returning is outside of the 7 day cooling off period you will be refunded the value of the goods returned less the cost of shipping the item to you. Shipping costs are £3.99 for items sent by post and £6.99 for items sent by courier (UK only, other destinations vary). Even though we ship items over £50 free of charge these costs still apply if you return items for a refund outside of the 7 day cooling off period as these are the costs we have incurred in shipping your order to you.

3. Items returned from overseas
Goods returned from overseas must be marked clearly with "Returned Goods of UK origin" to allow UK Customs clearance. We will not accept any goods returned to us which have incurred Customs charges. Goods which have incurred charges will be refused.
